had a blast and a half at my best friends' 26th birthday bash last night!!! as you can see!! (she's the one in the blue dress & glasses btw) here's some more pics, good times :]

that's my bestieeee! like my actual one, bc i've felt this way about other girls who I THOUGHT were my besties, but turned out to be just as sheisty as the next bitch.

soo, what's gone on today?? well, my boss finally went to detox. im happy/ proud of him :)

but here's the thing: long story short... he can't stand out event coordinator, finally found a 'reason' to get rid of her but demoted her to server instead (which is quite embarrassing, if you ask me) so now he's looking for someone to take her spot, told me to send in my resume to corporate for it plus he said he wants my name out there. well, i did it & he made it sound all good & cool. i already knew there's 2 other girls he wants for the position. one especially & she has a degree so she's more than qualified for the job. i thought it wasn't decided yet (& that i actually had a chance) but katie told me today...

"ok, so between me & you, krista told me that corporate told her this morning that they love her,want her for the position & the job is hers if she wants it. she had an interview with this news station & is really wanting it & wants to wait to see if they'll call her. she has by june 1st to give them a def. answer. but brittany, i think its fucked up that he would have you & deanna send in yalls resumes making yall think yall actually have a chance, knowing that they already picked krista for it. i think he did that just so it won't look like he fired the other just to hire who he really wanted to do it. just for a paper trail. just wanted to tell you bc that's fucked up."

gotta love glenn, right?i mean, i love him but he can be quite the snake sometimes.

so yeah, im proud of him for going to detox finally, but pissed at him for wasting my time with that EC shit knowing damn well who corporate was gonna hire. whatever. some things don't work out so a million other things can.

but other than that, i've had a nice, relaxing day off :)

i even cooked and bought some red velvet for dessert, mm mm mm! well, im about to go to walmart, pick up a couple of shirts, maybe a bottle of white zinfandel, whooooo knows!
